    @Gary Rado: That’s a very good question. The content of minerals found in the apple cider vinegar actually forms an alkaline ash when you consume it into your body and that is why it makes the body alkaline.

    The same goes to lemon & lime too.

    @Emma: Sorry, to be the devils advocate but where, is the research to backup the claims that ACV is ‘packed full of nutrients’ .. I have read other posts to suggest that people should also be vary careful with the amounts of ACV the consume, especially if they are on certain medications.
